Kumusta Po Kayo Pamiliya at Mga Kaibigan!
Makakaawa Po Ako ( that means I'm Pathetic!) I feel it a whole
week with no work! For those who don't know I've been down
in Manila this week in the fancy hospital getting all checked out
because of some bladder issues I've been having. I've lost all
embarrassment with saying I've got bladder issues here in the
Philippines its so hot and I've been drinking so much water they
we're worried I'd flushed out my kidneys or maybe had a kidney
stone as many of the missionaries here will develop those.
I've also lost about 20 pounds and so they checked me out for
that and I had a fasting blood test which was okay right up until
I fainted so I now get to say I've fainted on Two continents! this
one was much funnier than in London though because when I
spoke up I couldn't understand why no one was speaking English
for about a minuet or two then I remembered I was in the
Philippines and thought oh ya but why? looked down and saw
my name tag and thought OH YA! Duh! I'm a missionary for the
church. They blood test came back okay though so they just said
maybe I'm working to hard and maybe I should just eat more food
but no worries I'm not really underweight yet so After Many tests
and some antibiotics I've been given the all clear to return to the
field for now I have another check up to see how my treatment has
been working so In two weeks I return to Manila and what I lucky
girl I am to have been here. I was able to attend the Temple here
in Manila which was a real treat, and I bought more than a few
things for the other sisters and for our new and recent converts
at the distribution centre. I also got the Wooden Nativity set
I've been searching for my mother here at a little shop felling
Filipino native goods. Oh yes and I've been in the Missionary
Recovery Centre or MRC which is famous here among all the
missionaries as they know it has American food and boy does
it ever! About a million pancakes later I've gained back some
of the weight I'd lost and I feel good and ready to return. Thank
you all for all you're prayers. I love you and am praying for you!
and I'm just fine so start praying for other people okay!
