Blog Post
Kumusta po Kayo ang Pamiliya ko,
I've just gotten back from performing a special musical
number, and it was wonderful! I accompanied one of the
Edler's in our district ( Elder Long from Utah) and he
sang I know that My Savior Loves Me. It is from the new
children's primary program for the coming year it was a
wonderful experience to do a special musical number a
little nervous of course but really great to do. So other
news Sherry Dew spoke at our devotional last night and
it was wonderful. The talk was amazing literally one of
those like life changing talks. This Thursday we taught
a whole principle in Tagalog not an entire lesson but
more of a mini lesson really and in it I said something
that roughly translates to ' I know when you pray in
your families it is really fun for god!" The tagalog
speaking RM we were teaching held it together pretty
well and didn't laugh too hard. Also in light news it
snowed for real the first time this week and our beautiful
Tongan princess sister Tuifua who's never seen snow in
her life made her first snow man. Watching her play in
the snow was about the CUTEST thing I have ever seen
she was bouncing around and smiling like a three year
old would have when they had seen their own first snow.
I'm excited to
say I've created the coolest new game that is taking
the sister's MTC dorms by storm! Toothbrush off or
in tagalog Magsipilioyo off ! Basically it is about
the most intense test of endurance known to man,
with only one rule first one to stop brushing is
the looser! I have yet to be beaten and as dorky
as this sounds its hilarious and fun! It started
completely by accident when me and this native Spanish
speaking sister just started brushing at the same
time and then looked at each other and it was like
unspoken communication we knew IT WAS ON! We both
giggled all the way through it but i swear we must
have brushed for at least 5 solid minutes. I told
the story to my roommates right after it ended and
everyone loves it now! Any way's I must head off
now to our Quote the district leader " mandatory
opportunity for service" ! Love the contradiction
in that but I'm actually really looking forward
to it I think we get to colour.
Mahal Ko Kayo,
Ingat,
Sister Quinn
