Komusta Po Kayo Any Pamiliya Ko at Mga kaibigan,
Hey Family and Friends this week is Araw ng Papaslamat!
or roughly translated the day of thanks! We at the MTC
are all pumped and excited for your special Thursday
night fireside at which have have been promised Elder
Holland will be in attendance at , oh yes and their
will be much pie, but thanks for the early one Pamiliya
it was much appreciated. On Sunday we got a new District
leader and though I will miss amazing leadership of our
practically GI Elder Kitzmiller I'm excited to see what
Elder Holmes will do, or to pluralize his name sa Tagalog
Elder mga Holme. To pluralize in Tagolog you put mga in
front of the word so my Kasama(Companion) is now Sister
mga Main ( Mains) , and we've all been calling her that
alot now its hilarious! or at least our district thinks
it is! Our first week teaching a whole discussion
sa Tagolog went amazing Bro Idos told Sister Mains and I
that we we're just as good if not better than the
missionaries heading out this week and they are soo not
bad! It made us both jump for joy as we headed out of
the teaching evaluation room. One of our Our Zone leaders
( Elder Earl) has been assigned to labour in quarantine
which means we're all on the look out for more of us
getting swine flu. THAT would be awful please pray that
I don't . The other day sister Mains and I walked past
the building where they hold the quarantine people and
we heard tapping turned around and saw them all waving
at us with just about the saddest faces ever!
Up date on our lovely sister Tuifua for a while now
we've caught her checking herself out in the mirror
like A LOT, and when the teacher called her out on it
this week she said I'm just admiring God's creating. Our
teacher Brother Ogden had to actually excuse himself
from the class he was laughing so hard!. I'm certain
that tagolog has now taken over my life, its even in
my dreams apparently last night 3 of the sisters claim
to have heard me mumbling "Hindi Ko Alam" over and over
in my sleep which means " I don't know" Crazy hu? I
can't even remember what I was dreaming about. Still I'm
trying to keep faith that I'll be ready to go to the
Philippines when the time comes. Faith isn't easy you
know, its a 15 letter word in Tagolog ( Pananampalataya)!
Mahal Ko Kayo, ( love you all)
Magandag Araw ng Papasalamt, ( Happy Thanksgiving)
Sister Quinn
