Kamusta po Kayo, Bagon Taon I cant believe I still feel
like its just turned new years and they tell me today is
January 10th. The time flies by especially when you are
finding. This week our work has been blessed by the lord
so much. My testimony of fasting and answered prayers has
been strengthened as I have seen referrals coming in from
all sides of the finding pool. We have a lot of brand new
really interested investigators which is always exciting.
Two of which are Elder age and have loads of great questions.
Looking at our new investigators Its funny but I can already
see a future missionary in this one with all his great
questions curiosity and receptiveness to the gospel. We are
really pleased with the progress our new investigators
have made 3 of the new all coming to all 3 hours of
church and our recent convert Bravo family finally made
it through priesthood again this week as well. Our other
Recent Convert Sister Sandra Almazan we are proud to report
is already fulfilling her new calling as a branch missionary
and is a great help to our work having and older
fellowshiper for our Nannays especially one who is so
willing to pick up investigators for church and be a
great fellowship and support. This week I also noticed
something I'd already sort of thought about in terms of
my area. I've decided that Camilng Tarlac may be the place
with the most people dieing on a daily basis on
earth. Just this Saturday morning 3 funerals went
by our house in a row and since I've been here I've
attended 9 Funerals within this one small branch alone.
SO In terms of my area and its fruitfulness as well as its
tendency to bring out the dead I have named Camiling
Tarlac as the city where "Mormons go to baptized and
Philippinos go to die". I just wanted to add a quick
thank you on the end of this to each and every one of you
who sent me all the lovely Christmas cards from the good
old Grapevine ward, they really meant a lot, writing a
missionary makes their day more than cookies or any other
thing you can send, words mean the most, and I am great
full to you for all of yours! I love you all and miss
you too!
