Kamusta Po Kayo,
New years here was just as crazy as it always is in the
Philippines lots of crazy fireworks, and the Prisbrey
couples were so nice they invited us over for another
amazing holiday meal. We played Uno with them and then they
went to bed while we counted down the new years.I ate a
whole tub of ice cream and am feeling like a pig for it
today.
In terms of our work we are doing a WHOLE lot of rough
tough finding but I'm loving it. We went out and OYM or
tracting as it used to be called a whole street this week
with very little receptiveness but still we tried our best.
We feel exhausted but what missionary doesn't.I did get all
of your christmas cards this week from the Grapevine
ward and want to thank you all for your love and prayers.
I am loving my mission and with a new year shocked at how
fast the time is actually passing. My favorite thing of
the week was having a daughter of one of our long term
investigators suddenly become interested in listening to us.
She was really impressed because a friend of hers from high
school was converted recently and served a mission and
seeing the huge difference in her friend she because open
to the idea of listening to us. It just goes to show we
never know how much of an influence we have on people and
how much just our daily lives of living the gospel affects
others. I am greatfull for the work that I
have here. I love you all and miss you too!

Sister Quinn
